Our Company Profile:Established in the year 1961 by a young dynamic woman entrepreneur, late Smt. Sushila C. Shah, who had passed out of Osmania University, having completed M.A. (Economics). The firm started with trading and supplying of books in Medical, Veterinary and Engineering subjects. Most of the books were imported from Britain, USA and sourced from Bombay wholesalers and suppliers. Over the years, the firm supplied books to many universities. R& D Institutes, IIT's and NIT's across the country. In the Years 2007, the firm "The Book Syndicate" along with other different family owned partnership firms got amalgamated into a private limited company named "Shah Book House Pvt. Ltd.", and is known today as The Book Syndicate (A unit of Shah Book House Private Limited) Today, it has business relations with all the major publishers groups like John Wiley, McGraw hill, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis and many more. Latest book from all over the world are on display always and are updated on continuous basis. It has established relations with Amazon and Ingram , USA for importing books from various small and non-commercial publishers, which otherwise are difficult to obtain in India (complete details of our suppliers are given in the authorized dealers list).
